About me

First of all, I'm not an artist. I don't pretend to be an artist, and I don't think I want to be. I just like to doodle a bit, that's all, and I never want to be in danger of taking it too seriously. It'd be terrible to see the fun of it go away.

So that's what I'm not. What I am is a naturalist/interpreter with a BSc in Zoology and a lot of artsy hobbies. I spend my days teaching people (mostly children, but not always) about science, nature, and the environment, and I spend my evenings doodling, occasionally writing bad poetry, and singing. There was a time in my life when I did a bit of performing and I may get back to it someday, but for now what I do in my spare time is only for me. I think we all need something like that.

What else? Well, I'm short, left-handed, nearsighted, astigmatic, a dabbler in many things but a master of pretty much nothing, and I enjoy the absurdity in the world.

The stupidity? Not so much.
